Brent Allen Real Estate offers the following tips for selling your North Carolina home:
The front of the home is the first thing a buyer sees. Spruce up the outside and make sure the front door and entryway are clean.
Buyer's love bathrooms and kitchens. Make sure they sparkle. If your thinking of updating, this might be the place start!
If there is touch up painting to do, this is the time! This can sometimes make the difference in the price you want to get.
Let there be light! Keep your home well lit throughout. Illumination is a welcoming sign to buyers.
Try to do a spot clean when buyer's are going to come and look at your home.
Try to keep pets out of the way when someone is showing your home.
If you can leave during the showing, do so. Buyers like to be able to roam and get a good feel with their agent without anyone hanging on their back.
If you are present at a showing, leave the selling to the agent. He or she will be qualified and will know what the buyer likes in a home and will accentuate those details.
Try to keep clutter to a minimum. You want your home to be spacious!
